            The hot dog wasn’t invented here, but Buffolonians are as passionate about “dogs” as they are about “wings.” Legendary stands include Ted’s, established in 1927, famous for serving char-broiled foot-long dogs. Louie’s Foot Long Hot Dogs has been a fixture near Sheridan Park since 1951, not to be confused with Louie’s Texas Red Hots, noted for its special Greek sauce. Since 1949, Orchard Park residents have enjoyed dogs plus 115 flavors of milkshakes at Taffy’s.
